Mk3Love

Thanks for dropping by my blog.

Just thought I chuck in a link here for those that love what my Golf is about, and why I'm so obsessively into it.

Ram, it was after work and I was heading back onto the M4 from Homebush Bay Drive. It was raining at the time and the car oversteered as I made the turn. All four wheels started sliding out towards the guard rail... tried to regain control and nearly got out of it but still ended up on the guard rail.

Jacked the car up today and it doesn't look like any damage was done to the suspension. I was expecting something bent but it all looked straight. Might take it to the alignment shop...

AHH! Ray, your poor Mk3! Sorry about the damage. At least your suspension wasn't harmed. A little bodywork should straighten everything back out. You'll be back on the road in no time man. The good thing to hear is that you're ok. :)

Shiiiiiit man, that sucks. Like Mike says bro, good to hear you're ok though. We got a bunch of stories over here of serious accidents in the cold icy weather that's just started, a couple of fatalities too.

I heard lots of baaaaad things about Nankang rubber, especially in the wet, maybe they are the gremlins. What are the plans dude? You gonna scrap her or is it all fixable? Nice time to rock the rat approach. ;-)

Aaaah what a bummer. Luckily only cosmetic damage... don't worry these are just the trials and tribulations and being a motoring enthusiastm if anything this will make your relationship with your car even more special lol

Haha yeah it is aye. Everything has their ups and downs.

Car looks far from a wreck. It only seems like most of the damage is to the panels. I gotta go for an alignment soon though.

Al, funny you mention that. If insurance wouldn't cover me because of my mods, I'd probably end up just getting the panels beaten out and get something of a rat thing going for a while until I can afford to get it looking straight haha.

Yeehaaww brother!!

Amazing what some primer, gaffer tape and some matt paint can do to a dub.
